This time last year...

I was sitting at home waiting for labor to hit! Yes, that's right, my little rugrat will be 1 tomorrow. Oh how a year has just flown by. I seriously can't believe how big he is now. I can remember the whole day like it was yesterday. What a birth, I tell you. One that I will never forget. Wyatt has been such a joy, such delight! He has been my dream baby. He has exceeded all my expectations and I am so honored to be his mommy. I will post a short story of that days events tomorrow. I did want to share a moment of September 26, 2007. I had just had my membranes stripped and I was sitting at home wondering if it was going to work. I was mentally preparing myself for labor and delivery, trying to remember what it felt like. About 7pm labor picked up and I knew at that moment it would not be long before I held the last baby that I would carry. Such a bitter-sweet moment, but very memorable. So tomorrow, the story, the birth of Wyatt Zachary Brewster. He's a sweet boy!!

Wyatt is a genius!!!

Wyatt said 2 new words this morning and they are not your basic baby new words. We were sitting at breakfast and he was eating and he said "karate", or something that sounded like it. I was so impressed. Why would he be saying karate, I don't know, but he did. Brilliant child!! Then we were in his room, he was playing with a little toy phone and I was cleaning the room up. I looked down at him and asked who he was talking to, and he said "Jesus", or something very similar. My child is a prodigy, we are so lucky!!!

Complete and total update!!

Well this has been a busy weekend. So much has gone on. My in-laws were in from Florida and we celebrated Aliya and Wyatt's birthday. No pictures yet, my sister was in charge of that. So
I will post a little something later concerning the parties. Now, on to the base of this blog. I FINISHED the Twilight series. OH MY GOSH!!! I don't think that I have ever been so in love with a book series before, ever actually. The final book was the goodness of all the other three books in one. I laughed, I cried, I was tense, I was relaxed, it was so amazing. I am craving other books like this. I want to read and spill my guts about the characters and their stories. I am so sad it is over now, but I will find another book that gets my thoughts and imagination flowing as this did.

Well, I also turned the big 3-1 this week. On the 23rd, in fact. So now I am definitly in my 30's, but that's okay, I am embracing it. Nate took me to dinner and then to a movie. We saw Tropic Thunder. Ben Stiller is my all time favorite, but the movie was just okay. So I was a little bummed, but Stiller made me laugh which was important. I do pray that I never see Tom Cruise in a roll like that ever again!!!

This is a short one today, I could rambe on and on all day about Twilight, but my boys are making me crazy!! Wyatt will be one this weekend, but is already showing signs of his twos, go figure. Later peeps!!
