2 weeks

Since changing my eating habits in the past two weeks, I am proud to say that I have noticed a drop in my weight!! I'm no super model, yet, but I can definitely tell a difference. I have only been exercising in the past week, but I can only imagine how things will change the longer I keep at it. I am so excited to see what the future holds for me and my body!! I've decided I am not going to weigh myself until I feel that I am really ready for reality. Baby steps!! I am going to the gym tonight because there are no workouts on FitTv condusive to my time scheduleing, but I am bound and determined.

So, 1 more week and school starts. The girls are so excited!! They are counting down the days now. We go this week to "Meet the Teacher" and see where their classes are. They have already picked out their "first day of school" outfit. I am a little jealous of their excitement. It is always fun to have something to look forward to. When I was pregnant, I was always excited, there was always so much to look forward to. Or when I was a kid and knew that Christmas was coming, the anticipation was unreal. That is the feeling I miss. I am excited for my girls, they are starting a new adventure and who knows what is in store for them. So it's just me and my boys in the afternoon. Two kids, what in the world am I going to do with myself??? When I was pregnant with Zaynah people would tell me, "oh, just wait until you have two! You won't have time for anything.". Boy were they wrong. When I had Aliya, I was a new mom, things were scary and exhausting. When I had Zayn, it all came naturally. I eased right into having two kids. So having just two is a breeze for me. Having a third was a different story and having four even more different than that. Each came with it's own challanges, but you adjust. Having two, though, by far, has been the easiest for me. So I am welcoming the change, but I will miss my girls and I look forward to their stories from school.

I have so much to do this week to get prepared. Getting my house straighned up is one, but I will get to it when I can. I have a birthday party to get ready for on the 31st. Joshua will be 3 and he wants a Thomas the Train cake. So I will be doing my first rolled fondant cake, I am excited for the challange. I, of course, will post a picture if it turns out resembling Thomas. If not, then you can just hear the tales. I made the girls some new hair clips that are too adorable. I got the idea from a website that sells them $6 for two, but I made 12 pair for $4. Pretty cute, huh?

Well, that's enough of my jibber jabber. Off to be a mommy!!
